Everyone has the right to be well.

Be Well is one of three interconnected pillars in our Impact Agenda, with the vision that our communities thrive when we contribute to conditions that support physical, mental, and social wellbeing. As a global company rooted in yoga and committed to whole-person development, we have a unique opportunity to advance wellbeing for all.

Wellbeing Defined

We understand that everyone has their own unique definition of wellbeing. For some, it encompasses the holistic idea of mind, body, and soul. For others, it centers around specific factors, like having a sense of community or living in an inviting physical environment.

We understand wellbeing as a lifetime practice of three elements:

Physical Wellbeing

Feeling empowered and able to give one’s body what it needs for health and quality of life.

Mental Wellbeing

Feeling emotionally prepared and able to handle what the future holds.

Social Wellbeing

Feeling connected to others, being part of something larger than oneself, and contributing to a supportive community.

Mental Wellbeing Global Advisory Board

As part of lululemon's ongoing commitment to elevate human potential and foster holistic wellbeing, the company established a Mental Wellbeing Global Advisory Board, comprised of 11 leaders that include medical professionals, social innovators, mental health leaders, community influencers, advocates, and academics. The board is chaired by Susan Gelinas, Chief People & Culture Officer at lululemon. The Mental Wellbeing Global Advisory Board helps lululemon develop best practices and influence a global conversation to improve mental wellbeing outcomes for both employees and communities around the world. The board also provides a platform to voice opinions and raise awareness to help lululemon destigmatize the need for wellbeing assistance and provide additional tools and resources to help employees in their individualized mental wellbeing journeys.
