Today, lululemon announced Summer McIntosh, Olympian and record-setting competitive swimmer, as the brand’s newest Ambassador. Representing the next generation of Canadian Olympics hopefuls, Summer joins lululemon’s Team Canada collective on the road to the Paris 2024 Games.
“For me, lululemon is all about style, quality, being healthy and having fun,” said Summer. “I love training in fashionable clothing that supports my performance and comfort as an athlete so I’m excited to have access to all the latest gear. It’s going to be great working with the lululemon team who are 100 percent dedicated to helping me be my best.”
Summer is the only Canadian swimmer with four world titles, following two gold medals at the 2023 World Aquatics Championships, and was the youngest athlete to represent Canada at the Tokyo 2021 Games. She is the current World Record holder in the women’s 400m Individual Medley and holds five Canadian Senior National records and five World Junior Records. Summer has secured a place on Team Canada to compete at the Paris 2024 Games.
“Summer is an incredible talent who is inspiring young swimmers and so many others through her dedication to the sport, positive energy, and record-setting times,” said Michelle Davies, Vice President, Global Sports Marketing and Partnerships at lululemon. “This partnership is a natural fit between our brand and Summer as she prepares for her second Olympics, where we’ll be eagerly cheering her on.”
lululemon will exclusively outfit Summer in the latest training and casual gear out of the pool, with feedback sessions scheduled to support the brand’s commitment to innovating for unmet needs. lululemon’s head-to-toe performance and casual wear combines functionality, comfort, and style to keep guests feeling their best, so they can perform their best.
Summer joins recently announced lululemon Ambassador Connor Bedard and fellow Team Canada athletes Leylah Fernandez, Damian Warner, and Phil Wizard.
