Last March, a group of lululemon Ambassadors participated in the FURTHER ultramarathon where all surpassed their furthest distance, ran a collective 2,880 miles / 4,634km, and showcased how far women can go with access to resources and innovations typically reserved for men.
Today, lululemon is launching the Go Further™ Capsule - a collection of technical running products tested by ultramarathoners at FURTHER.
The six pieces debut new storage solutions and product features made for running including:
- Go Further™ Race Tight and Short with a 360-degree waistband storage
- Go Further™ Bra, C/D Cup with new Support Code technology that delivers maximum support and barely-there feel
- Go Further™ Split Short that balances coverage with mobility
- Go Further™ Split Short Runsie with an all-in-one design
- Go Further™ Ice Storage Tank that delivers cooling and ventilation as cooling can elevate performance
These products were shaped by research on human performance and the female body in movement, in addition to athlete feedback around needing ample storage, a women’s-first design, and to feel confident and light in their kits.
“The Go Further™ capsule is a testament to how we work with our Ambassadors and research insights to create running products that help our guests feel and perform their best. These innovations supported the athletes in going their furthest over the six-day FURTHER ultramarathon and we’re excited to offer them to our guests to experience first-hand,” said Chantelle Murnaghan, Vice President of Research and Product Innovation, lululemon.
The capsule will be available globally in select regions starting June 3, 2025. Additional innovations and product features tested at FURTHER will debut in lululemon’s future running assortment, including a new running shoe in August 2025.
