As lululemon continues to grow and deliver on its next chapter of international expansion, the company has appointed a new Senior Vice President to lead the EMEA region.
Sarah Clark joins lululemon in September 2022, leading brand and business growth via retail, digital and strategic partner channels in EMEA.
“Sarah is a proven leader with a strong track record developing teams, deepening brand loyalty, and scaling businesses internationally,” said André Maestrini, lululemon’s EVP of International. “Her experience and vision will enable us to deliver on our EMEA ambitions, towards our five-year goal of quadrupling lululemon’s international revenues.”
Sarah will be based in lululemon’s EMEA head office in Covent Garden, London, leading a team of more than 900 across retail and store support functions. lululemon currently operates 43 stores and four local language sites in nine countries in Europe, in addition to serving additional countries via its EU website. The brand recently opened its first stores in Spain, with international expansion forming one of three key pillars in lululemon’s “Power of Three x2” growth strategy.
“I’m delighted to join lululemon; it’s a transformative brand rooted in world-class product, and in building unique guest experiences and engaged local communities. I was particularly attracted to the inclusive culture, unified behind a clear and powerful purpose,” said Sarah Clark. “There are significant opportunities ahead and, in collaboration with a talented team, I’m excited to be part of lululemon’s continued growth story in EMEA.”
Prior to joining lululemon, Sarah held international commercial and marketing senior leadership roles at SMEs Frugi, OKA and Rapha, as well as gaining 14 years’ experience managing brands at Procter & Gamble.
lululemon’s previous SVP for EMEA, Gareth Pope, relocated to Hong Kong in 2021 to lead the brand’s Asia Pacific region.
