lululemon is launching a special swimwear collection today designed in partnership with professional surfer and lululemon Elite Ambassador, Malia Manuel.
lululemon’s Design team worked hand-in-hand with Malia to create the innovative collection, fusing lululemon’s signature fabric and technical expertise with Malia’s personal aesthetic to create functional, yet beautiful styles.
A respected member of the surf community and inspiration for the next generation of female surfers, Malia’s passion for her sport, deep community roots and authenticity were sources of inspiration for lululemon’s Design team.
When she isn’t traveling the world and surfing professionally, Malia spends her time free surfing, connecting her body and mind to the elements. lululemon’s Design team tapped into this facet of her lifestyle, intentionally designing each piece to mirror her surf philosophy, mindful approach and fluid and free spirit on the waves.
The full lululemon x Malia Manuel Collection is available online and in select stores beginning May 8, 2018 and includes the Will the Wave Top, Bottom and the Long Sleeve One-Piece, featuring new engineered print technology and lululemon’s Esca™ fabric, a lightweight, four-way stretch, quick-drying fabric that offers UV protection and is chlorine and salt water tested.
