IDEA is a critical function that helps us create an environment that is equitable, inclusive, and fosters growth.

It also supports the development of innovative solutions, products, and experiences.

A Message from our Chief People & Culture Officer, Susan Gelinas

At lululemon, we are on an ongoing journey to drive meaningful, lasting change in the world and promote wellbeing across our communities. As part of our Impact Agenda, we are accelerating programs to become a more inclusive and diverse company.

I am proud of our continued evolution through IDEA, focusing on making changes grounded in our values. Open conversation, active listening, and continuous learning are integral to this journey. They support our commitment to engaging with the broader community to understand opportunities for evolving behaviors, commitments, and actions—both within our organization and across our collective.

Our people are the heart and soul of this company, driving us forward every day—we intend for IDEA to be integrated through all we do. We are proud of the progress we are making, are committed to the journey ahead, and are a stronger because of the culture we continue to build together.

Sharing Our Progress

We will continue to provide updates on our IDEA efforts and commitments in lululemon’s annual Impact Report. Key investments include:

Inclusive and Equitable Design

Designing across our entire business for as many people as possible, including store locations, employment policies, and product and guest interactions.

IDEA Engagement

Developed IDEA toolkits, Learning in Equity Actioning Now (LEAN) programming, Collective Exchange, IDEA Labs and other offerings that focus on inclusive language, mitigating bias, and inclusive behaviours that foster an environment where our employees can thrive.

People Networks

Our People Networks are employee-led communities open to all. They are built on shared experiences and solidarity, designed to empower, uplift and cultivate connection and development.

Spotlight On: Inclusive and Equitable Design

The Inclusive and Equitable Design Certification Program serves as a tool for educating and engaging our internal collective in helping them make inclusive and equitable decisions across our entire business. In this certification program, design goes beyond our products and becomes a powerful means to communicate and apply IDEA concepts in support of our guests, employees and communities we serve. Design is a catalyst for inclusion and ensuring that everyone sees themselves reflected and valued in the programs, products, and systems that shape our world.
