Community has always been at the heart of lululemon, and as restoration efforts continue in the wake of the Los Angeles wildfires, the power of coming together remains stronger than ever. Over the last two months, lululemon teams have been on the ground, working alongside grassroots organizations to support ongoing relief efforts for families, local Ambassadors, and small businesses as they rebuild.

Through partnerships and financial contributions, lululemon has worked to support communities impacted by the LA wildfires, helping them stay resilient and restore the areas and lives in the hearts of communities.

A key partner in these efforts includes It’s Bigger Than Us (IBTU), a community-driven organization dedicated to direct, on-the-ground relief across all impacted areas. Through this partnership, lululemon joined a coalition of over 50 organizations to provide vital aid to more than 2,500 individuals impacted by the fires, delivering essential resources like clothing, shelter, financial assistance, and legal support.

In addition to these efforts, lululemon’s community team and local Ambassadors worked with the BeyGOOD Foundation in Pasadena to provide 300 families with essential items, including totes, backpacks, and water bottles.

“The partnership with lululemon has made a tremendous difference in the communities impacted by the LA wildfires,” said Tyrone Nance, Founder & CEO, It’s Bigger Than Us. “From Altadena to the Palisades, we’ve witnessed firsthand the impact on families and first responders. Those who have received support from lululemon not only found warmth but also a sense of dignity and belonging, with each item serving as a symbol of care, community, and renewal. We are grateful for the partnership and proud to continue to help rebuild something real.”

While the devastation impacted the LA area, communities, along with lululemon guests and employees, came together to support one another. lululemon’s GlowUp Studio in New York City offered guests a unique opportunity to move together with proceeds from the event going toward LA wildfire relief efforts.

lululemon also provided financial assistance to local Ambassadors and studio partners impacted by the fires, with one recipient sharing, “Keeping our studio open means everything to us. It’s about the teachers who depend on their paychecks and the students who rely on us for comfort and healing.”

“What truly defined this effort was the sense of togetherness it fostered,” said Celeste Burgoyne, President, Americas & Global Guest Innovation, lululemon. “This relief was about neighbors, businesses, and local leaders coming together in difficult times and rebuilding a sense of hope. The road to recovery is long, but this experience has shown us that collective action creates meaningful change.”

In addition, lululemon donated gift cards to guests in the most heavily impacted zip codes as a small gesture of support to help rebuild what they have lost. Employees were given the opportunity to purchase lululemon product for those in their community who lost clothing along with their homes in the fires.

Recovery and resilience cannot be achieved without the unwavering support of tireless first responders. It’s Bigger Than Us (IBTU) and lululemon together supported their efforts by distributing over 2,100 pieces of apparel to 700 frontline workers in Altadena and Malibu, ensuring they had the essential gear needed to serve their communities.
