Today, lululemon announced Connor Bedard, record-setting junior hockey star and top NHL prospect, as the brand’s newest Ambassador. The partnership marks an exciting moment for both Connor and lululemon who share Vancouver as their hometown.
“Being from Vancouver, I’ve been a fan of lululemon for as long as I can remember,” said Connor. “The gear is so comfortable, stylish, and great for training. The more you learn about the company, the more you recognize how much goes into their product design, so to get an opportunity to share my input during the development is pretty cool.”
In February 2023, Connor helped lead the Canadian National Team to a gold medal at the IIHF World Junior Championship, where he was named the tournament MVP. This month, Connor added to his growing list of accolades by being named the IIHF Male Player of the Year. He is now eligible for the 2023 NHL Entry Draft this week, where he is expected to go first overall.
“We are inspired by Connor’s athletic achievements and his humility, positivity, and natural leadership both on and off the ice,” said Michelle Davies, Vice President, Global Sports Marketing and Partnerships at lululemon. “Through this partnership, we’re excited to support Connor as he enters this new chapter of his career and inspires the next generation of athletes.”
Connor will have access to lululemon’s latest training and lifestyle gear, providing feedback in support of the brand’s commitment to innovative design. Created for and with athletes, lululemon’s performance and casual products are developed based on the brand’s unique Science of Feel lens, combining functionality, comfort, and style to keep guests feeling their best, so they can perform their best.
Connor joins lululemon’s Team Canada collective and growing community of Ambassadors, including NBA athlete Jordan Clarkson, tennis champion Leylah Fernandez and F1 driver Zhou Guanyu.
